Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Blue Origin, you will partner directly with your Business Unit CFO to own the financial plan for the business, providing centralized support across business units, functions, and locations. You will standardize and automate financial metrics, drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, and apply AI tooling to automate recurring analysis.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, standardization and automation, and partnering and leadership. You will own the annual budget and recurring forecast cycle, lead the monthly and quarterly close reporting cycle, and drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, consulting, or related field
• Strong Excel skills, BI tools, and knowledge of SQL or Python
• Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to summarize complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities
• High level of integrity, ownership, and willingness to learn
