Data Engineer

Role Overview

Design and develop interconnected data solutions using Microsoft platform, with a focus on financial and project data. Must have 7+ years of experience and a strong understanding of database structures, data models, and BI principles.

What You Will Do

Data analysis, data modelling, data integration, data warehousing, and database design. Support and maintenance of the BI/DW environment, and design and develop ETL data transformation and data management processes.

Ideal candidate has experience with project metrics and financials, PowerBI dashboards, Azure, Python, and Kimball data modelling principles.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
• Role related diploma/degree or equivalent certification and experience
• 7+ years experience designing and developing interconnected data solutions using Microsoft platform
• Experience with financial and/or project data
• Experience with JIRA, JQL, consuming REST API
