Data Scientist, Mid

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will be a key contributor to the technical solution, helping to develop and deploy data pipelines that organize and make disparate data meaningful. You will collaborate with your team and end-users to understand their requirements, then use that insight to help implement the data ontology, support analyses, and configure user-facing applications and workflows.

What You Will Do

You will work with clients, developing end-to-end solutions with platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Databricks, and AWS, enabling them to tackle missions from fraud detection to cancer research. You will be embedded with clients, working in a fast-paced, agile environment where you take on increasing responsibility for key components of the solution.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience utilizing programming languages, including C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores that supply data in forms needed for business analysis
• Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team
• Experience developing scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats, and supporting the project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience with data engineering, including application or software development in a professional environment, or 3+ years of experience with data engineering, including application or software development in a professional environment, in lieu of a degree
