Mission Data Scientist, Senior

Role Overview

As a data scientist, you will use your analytical skills to improve strategic innovation for the federal government. You’ll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle.

What You Will Do

You’ll mentor teammates, develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help federal health organizations make informed decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with data analytics, software engineering, data engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering
• Experience with Python development
• Experience briefing military leaders and officers
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical client SMEs
• Ability to travel CONUS up to 25% of the time
• Ability to deploy internationally for up to 90 days
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
