Business Development Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Leadership Group and play a key role in shaping the future direction and growth of the business. The successful candidate will provide strategic input into business development, marketing and growth initiatives while leading the management of our business development pipeline and project opportunity conversion.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships and positioning the business to secure a strong forward workload.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing opportunities from initial lead through to successful project award and close-out
• Experience in business development, project delivery and/or pre-construction
• A demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong business pipeline with high conversion rates
• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how to structure compelling offers and manage commercial risk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capability
• A strategic approach to problem solving and business development
• The confidence and credibility to influence clients, industry stakeholders and internal executive management
• Strong leadership capability and the ability to bring people together around a common objective
