Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Cost Performance Senior Analyst to join BP International Limited within the Oil & Gas sector. This role will be crucial in driving performance through robust financial analysis, cost management, and insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making.

What You Will Do

Lead detailed financial analysis and modelling to identify cost drivers, efficiencies, and performance gaps within O&G operations. Build and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, specifically focusing on cost performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and performance management, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key insights.
• Excellent commercial competence with a deep understanding of business drivers and their impact on financial performance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization and interpretation tools and techniques.
• Solid experience in investment appraisal methodologies and their application.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Experience with integrated planning processes and tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
