Business Development Manager – Embedded Finance

Role Overview

Join Lloyds Banking Group’s Embedded Finance team to help shape finance for good. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a critical part in realising the potential of innovative new products, acquiring commercial relationships, and delivering responsible and targeted solutions for customers. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Risk, and Finance teams to build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective partners, support merchant acquisition activity, and contribute to bringing new opportunities from initial engagement through to launch.

What You Will Do

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll identify, secure, and develop commercial partnerships that support the continued growth of our Embedded Finance proposition. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, identifying opportunities to improve outcomes, and develop customer-focused solutions, commercial proposals, or partnership opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or merchant acquisition roles.
• Experience building and managing commercial relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering business growth.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence colleagues, partners, and customers.
• Experience developing customer-focused solutions, commercial proposals, or partnership opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
• A growth mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
