Data Analyst Lead

Role Overview

The Lead Data Analyst serves as the primary analytical partner and point of contact for retail leadership data requests, responsible for translating leadership questions into clear analytical requirements, delivering timely and accurate insights, and ensuring that retail leaders have trusted information to support commercial performance, operational execution, and strategic decision-making.

What You Will Do

Act as the primary point person for retail leadership data requests, translate business questions into analytical plans, deliver recurring and ad hoc analysis, create clear narratives, and partner with BI, data engineering, and data product teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years of experience in data analytics, strong SQL skills, experience working with governed datasets, and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, retail analytics, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with governed datasets, semantic models, reporting layers, or enterprise data warehouses
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills
