Inside Sales Manager Sales

Role Overview

The Inside Sales Manager Sales directs the operation of all aspects of inside (contractor) sales, responsible for determining staffing needs to maximize sales and profit objectives. The role ensures that inside sales processes, practices, and personnel provide required customer support, working closely with the Sales Manager to ensure inside and outside sales personnel work as a team.

What You Will Do

Provides customer support to walk-in retail or contractor customers, responds to telephone and e-mail inquiries, and recommends specific products and services. Generates sales quotations, actively engages in selling company products, and provides material take-offs, estimates, and pricing of large packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management or related field
• Four (4) years retail sales experience and/or management experience
• Knowledge of company products, services, production processes, and product standards
• Understanding of company policies and procedures relating to sales and customer service
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive customer information
• Working knowledge of building industry and retail management
• Ability to think strategically and to forecast and drive sales
• Excellent customer services skills and sales experience
• Ability to supervise and achieve work productivity through others
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Proficiency in Office Suite
