Marketing Communications Manager

Role Overview

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for organizing and executing internal and external communications and media relations activities in addition to assisting with other marketing and business development initiatives as needed.

What You Will Do

Developing and implementing content and media calendars, writing and editing press releases and website copy, and positioning the firm’s attorneys and advisors as thought leaders within their respective practice areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a media relations or communications role, preferably in an agency or professional services environment
• Advanced writing, editing and proofing skills
• Proven ability in writing press releases, talking points, and digital content
• Experience working with social media channels, social media management tools, and WordPress or similar CMS
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to identify and develop compelling story ideas and messages, as well as provide compelling and polished content
• Ability to understand PR, social, and website analytics and develop strategies around those metrics
• Strong project management skills
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to interact and effectively communicate with others across all levels of the firm
