Health & Safety Account Manager

Role Overview

The Health & Safety Account Manager is responsible for client outreach, growing reach to new business, and providing health and safety advice and guidance to clients. The role involves building deep relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and aligning appropriate health and safety solutions to meet their desired outcomes.

What You Will Do

The Health & Safety Account Manager will work to ensure the effective transition from proposed solution to delivery, often with project management support, and monitors accounts to ensure successful implementation of the service. The role involves communicating and representing client needs internally and working collaboratively with the service delivery teams.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Safety or related discipline and/or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years related health and safety industry experience
• Knowledge of Health and Safety including legislation (OHSA, etc.), technical standards, regulations and best practices
• Strong Knowledge of Agriculture, Manufacturing or Services sector including multi-jurisdictional legislation, and technical standards
• Strong relationship management and project management experience or skills
• Relationship-building, listening, and presentation/facilitation skills
• Ability to work with a team to cultivate customer relationships
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience developing customer health and safety plans
• Understanding of a Managed Systems Approach
