Join Canva’s team as a Senior Finance Systems Engineer – Zuora system. As a Senior Finance Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the revenue system landscape, overseeing system and process improvement projects, and assisting the Finance team in implementing ongoing system monitoring controls. You will also be required to perform investigations related to troubleshooting and technical root cause analysis, and continuously assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in financial systems management supporting the revenue recognition domain;
- Past experience in a public company or SOX environment is highly desirable;
- Experience managing systems across the lifecycle of concept development, design, integration, test, maintenance and retirement of established revenue systems, preferably Zuora and/or equivalent systems;
- Experience in implementing revenue systems and integrations with third-party systems and tools;
- Experience providing revenue system administration and support, including troubleshooting technical issues and optimising system performance;
- Proficiency in producing SQL scripts and use other data analytical software tools to investigate data and gather relevant information;
- Solid knowledge of the revenue recognition process and applicable accounting standards such as IFRS 15/ ASC 606, along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions is greatly valued
