Role Overview

The Data Analyst II reports to the Chief Information Security Officer and works within the Information Technology Division. This position assists with agency-wide data management work and ensures governance guidelines are followed across data systems within the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Agency.

What You Will Do

Identifies KPIs and develops metrics to track and measure business performance. Creates and maintains datasets, reports, and dashboards using data analytics platforms and related tools.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in data processing, computer science, business administration, or a related field
  • Two years of experience in data analysis and data research work
  • Regular work attendance
