Finance Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role Overview

The Finance Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis drives the planning, forecasting and performance-analysis cycle for a Carrier manufacturing facility. Working with general supervision on assignments that require judgment and interpretation, this role turns operational and financial data into insight that supports decision-making, cost control and profitable growth.

What You Will Do

Leads the monthly forecast, annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range planning cycles for the site. Performs month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries and account reconciliations. Analyzes actual results versus plan/forecast, explaining variances in cost, spend, absorption and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis, or accounting experience
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capability
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and SOX compliance
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Manufacturing or plant-finance experience, including standard costing and absorption analysis
• Proficiency with ERP (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Hyperion/OneStream)
• CPA, CMA or MBA
