Marketing Technology & Data Consultant (Rental Focus)

Role Overview

As a Marketing Technology & Data Consultant, you will represent and support the deployment of Caterpillar’s world-class Google Marketing Platform (GMP) suite focusing on Google Analytics. You will act as the digital product management link between our business partners, dealers and site owners and our Google Analytics Engineering team, ensuring that the Cat Rental Store website and mobile app and related customer-facing platforms are optimized to drive enterprise growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business Analytics or a related field OR equivalent working experience
• GA4 Google Analytics certification preferred, with experience in implementing GA4 and Google Tag Manager and a willingness to develop deeper expertise
• Foundational understanding of the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and interest in learning data validation skills
• Experience in running digital marketing programs and campaigns
• Ability to analyze business needs and help translate them into clear, actionable requirements
• Experience with Agile project tools (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Interest in supporting digital transformation initiatives and learning change-management fundamentals
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an organized, detail-oriented approach to documentation
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience collaborating in team environments, including groups and with cross-functional work
• Curious with the ability to stay adaptable, ask questions, and contribute to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
