Director of Finance & Business Operations

Role Overview

This position oversees the business and financial operations of Children’s Wisconsin, including affiliate funding, annual budgets, and financial pro-formas for new business development. The role also serves as the administrative leader for the CSG Finance Committee and supports Division Chiefs and Administrative leadership with tools to access workforce demands and optimize charge capture.

What You Will Do

The Director of Finance & Business Operations will oversee the development of financial pro-formas, facilitate alignment of business planning and financial stewardship with CHW and MCW leadership, and support Division Chiefs and Administrative leadership with tools to access workforce demands and optimize charge capture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Healthcare Administration
• 7+ years of financial healthcare experience
• 4 years of management level experience
• Experience in an academic environment with responsibility for financial management, financial analysis, board level reporting, and partnership across matrix relationships
• Leadership competencies including managing work processes and systems, organizational agility, approachability, and business acumen
• Demonstrated solid understanding of the healthcare industry, planning, and financial management
• Demonstrated success in working across organizations, in complex organizations, and healthcare
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven facilitation skills
