Marketing Operations Specialist

Role Overview

ChurnZero is hiring a Marketing Operations Specialist to build and manage campaigns, workflows, and data operations that keep our revenue marketing engine running smoothly. This role sits at the heart of the marketing team’s execution, owning the day-to-day work that turns marketing strategy into systems, segments, and actionable signals.

What You Will Do

Build and manage HubSpot workflows, configure and maintain lead capture forms, email nurtures, and other automation programs, troubleshoot workflow issues, and maintain campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, and tagging consistency.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The right candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and energized by complex stacks, with a bias toward documentation and process, and a curiosity about AI tooling and how it changes day-to-day marketing ops.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation
  • HubSpot familiarity: comfortable building workflows, lists, segments, lifecycle stages, and lead scoring models
  • Working familiarity with a website CMS (HubSpot CMS, WordPress, or similar) and basic technical SEO concepts: page structure, metadata, redirects, crawlability
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce: contact/account/opportunity structure, campaigns, basic admin
  • Strong attention to detail — you catch broken UTMs, mismatched field values, and quiet workflow failures before they become problems
  • Comfort working across multiple tools and tracing data flow between systems
  • A bias toward documentation and process — you build for the next person, not just for yourself

Benefits

  • Target Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000
