Role Overview
The Market Data Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure Capital Markets Risk Management’s models continue to perform at the highest standards. The role involves applying and enhancing methods of assessing market data integrity, automating regular procedures, and promoting timely data analysis.
What You Will Do
The Market Data Analyst will perform daily market data integrity, ad-hoc market data reviews, communication, documentation and governance, automation and projects, and controls and governance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data and statistics, a solid foundation in statistics, time series analysis, and financial derivatives, and strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel.
Requirements
- Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science, or mathematical finance/financial engineering
- CFA or FRM accreditation (asset)
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel
- Solid foundation in statistics, time series analysis, and financial derivatives
- Understanding of market and credit risk concepts, such as VaR, Monte Carlo simulation, Basis risk
- Familiarity with Capital Markets products, including Money Markets, FX Commodities, Equities, Credit, Derivatives, Futures, and OTC products
