Senior AI Operations Engineer

Role Overview

Join the Cisco AI Software & Platform Group to incubate and deliver Generative AI solutions. As a Senior AI Operations Engineer, you will architect and build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and lead the adoption of best-in-class DevOps practices across the organization.

What You Will Do

Implement end-to-end CI/CD workflows, scale microservice-based platforms, lead cross-functional DevOps projects, collaborate with engineering teams, and advocate automation in every layer of the infrastructure stack.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless code delivery, system reliability, and operational excellence for our SaaS platforms. You will also participate in on-call rotation and serve as a subject matter expert within the DevOps organization.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related field) + 7 years of DevOps experience, Masters + 4 years of related experience, or PhD + 1 year of related experience
• 2+ years scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Experience working in Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
