Role Overview

The Planning and Data Analyst will help address housing needs and coordinate the City’s response to homelessness by turning complex data sets into meaningful, actionable insights, conducting independent research projects, and establishing evaluation frameworks. The role is deeply collaborative, requiring the ability to understand the day-to-day operations of various teams to support the development of data-informed insights.

What You Will Do

Support the development and/or monitoring of evaluation frameworks for major strategic initiatives, design and provide customized data tracking solutions, create public-facing dashboards and reports, and evaluate Affordable Housing and Homelessness initiatives and programs.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Public Policy, Economics, Public Administration, Statistics, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience combining strategic and operational business planning, performance measures, business case development and data analytics

Benefits

  • Up to 1 permanent full-time position
  • Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week
  • Salary Range: $51.611 – $65.218 (Hourly); $90,925.680 – $114,897.810 (Annually)
  • Hybrid work arrangement with flexibility to work from home and the worksite
  • Criminal Records Check (CRC) may be required
