The Center for Health Equity & Community Wellness (CHECW) is seeking a Data Analyst to provide support to the Office of Health Insurance Services and the Office of Health Care Access and Policy. The Data Analyst will conduct analyses of existing data, prepare analysis plans, and present findings within the bureau and across the agency.

Requirements

  • Support the planning, development, and implementation of the Bureau’s data analysis, research, and surveillance activities.
  • Conduct analyses of existing data to support planning and policy development.
  • Prepare analysis plans and data-driven reports and presentations.
  • Conduct data quality assurance activities, including data cleaning and recoding.
  • Support database management and evaluation activities.
  • Coordinate projects and research activities.
  • Assist with preparing scientific manuscripts for publication.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external groups in aligning data collection and data integration.
  • Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations on research findings and recommendations.
  • Present findings within the bureau and across the agency, as necessary.
  • Assist on special projects as needed.
