Enablement & Engagement Manager, Academic Partnerships

Role Overview

The Enablement & Engagement Manager, Academic Partnerships will lead content, curriculum, and cross-functional coordination for Clio’s academic program. This role will develop AI and technology certification programs, curriculum modules, and turn-key instructional content to equip law students, faculty, and legal professionals to practice with Clio’s legal technology tools.

What You Will Do

The role will involve developing and deploying AI and technology competency certification programs, creating a dynamic library of student-facing materials, building and facilitating Clio’s academic community programs, and representing Clio in the legal academy profession through thought-leadership initiatives and speaking opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, LLM, or similar law degree from a U.S. law school, or 2+ years of first-hand, non-student experience in a U.S. law school; OR 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, content, or program/project coordination, ideally spanning multiple functions, ideally in higher education or the legal industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, content, or program/project coordination, ideally spanning multiple functions, ideally in higher education or the legal industry
• Demonstrated legal technology and AI competency, or strong aptitude for building it quickly
• Strong project management skills, with experience tracking multiple requests and deadlines across teams
• Excellent written communication skills, including experience with briefs, external messaging, instructional content, and product positioning
• Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, or business development teams
• Experience leveraging and experimenting with AI in the workplace to improve work throughput, individually and for the team
• Willingness to travel for conferences and events
