Data Operations Associate, STR – APAC

Role Overview

The Data Operations Associate will be a vital position on the STR Data Operations Team, responsible for data loading, data checking, and report delivery for the benchmarking product. The role will support client-related administrative tasks, including automating and managing data feeds and facilitating data exchange between STR and clients.

Responsibilities include loading performance data, performing data quality checks, communicating with clients and data providers, and delivering timely and accurate solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (ideally in the field of hospitality, data, business management or finance) or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English
• Data Skills: creative, innovative, and analytical. Strong confidence in using and manipulating quantitative performance data.
• Ability to manipulate big data sets/work with disparate data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experienced in dealing with urgent internal and/or external requests while maintaining the turnaround times for other projects.
