HDR is looking for a Business Development Leader to drive growth for the federal business group in the Colorado area. The role is responsible for developing capture plans, pursuits, and proposals for various service lines, leveraging internal and external capabilities to win new work.
Requirements
- Research and analysis of business opportunities consistent with the organization’s long-range and strategic plans
- Development of marketing and business plans, strategy implementation, and oversight of the business development budget
- Liaison with HDR counterparts on cross-business group opportunities
- Ability to thrive in an environment with responsibility for both management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process
- Developing plans for securing knowledge and understanding of the client’s requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases
- Coordinating meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight
- Leading white paper and RFI/RFQ/RFP/TORN responses
- Planning and participating in capture activities, including identifying opportunities, conducting competitive assessments, teaming, and developing strategy for pricing and qualifications presentations
