Role Overview

Join CPKC, a transnational railroad connecting U.S., Canada, and Mexico, where your career drives progress and safety is paramount. As a Specialist, Financial Planning, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to Operations leadership, driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.

What You Will Do

Translate operational changes into a financial forecast, proactively look for improvements in the forecasting process, and provide support to Operations by developing a comprehensive annual budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other relevant fields
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a finance‐related role, preferably with an operational or planning focus.
  • Experience in Business Consolidation and Planning (BPC) is desirable
  • MS Excel Modelling Skills
  • Continuous process improvement, inquiring mindset, and strong attention to detail
