The Associate Director will serve as a trusted partner to clients, delivering tailored, integrated solutions that help clients solve today’s challenges and set the foundation for future success. The role involves client delivery, leading teams, developing junior team members, and participating in business development activities.
What You Will Do
The Associate Director will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, leading teams, and participating in business development activities. This includes serving clients within the ‘Office of the CFO’ at private equity portfolio companies, creating a diagnostic framework, and enhancing the effectiveness of the finance function.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of corporate FP&A and/or consulting experience, with exposure to middle-market, private equity-owned businesses and significant experience in the GovCon space.
Requirements
- 9+ years of corporate FP&A and/or consulting experience
- Experience addressing the unique requirements of the middle-market consulting environment
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Deep industry experience in the GovCon sector
- Experience bridging technical FP&A skills with hands-on knowledge of DCAA/DCMA compliance
- Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA audit processes
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
- Advanced financial modeling skills paired with judgement to keep models practical and decision-focused
- Experience with data analytics and related tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, etc.)
- Knowledge of key technology solutions within the Office of the CFO
- Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards
