Lead Data Scientist (Medicare Sales Strategy)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to own the analytical strategy and data science roadmap for our Medicare sales organization. You will set technical direction, lead a team of data scientists and analysts, and serve as the primary thought partner to sales leadership on data-driven growth initiatives across Medicare Advantage and Part D markets.

What You Will Do

Define and drive the data science strategy supporting Medicare sales, distribution, and enrollment growth. Lead a team of data scientists and analysts, architect and oversee end-to-end modeling pipelines, and own the sales data ecosystem.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will present findings and recommendations directly to VP/C-suite stakeholders, influence strategic decisions with data, and partner with Engineering and IT to productionize models and embed insights into sales workflows and tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data science or advanced analytics
• 3+ years in a lead, staff, or principal capacity
• 3+ years supporting Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or Part D sales or distribution organizations
• Proven track record leading and mentoring a team of data scientists or analysts
• Expert-level SQL
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R for modeling, automation, and pipeline development
• Deep experience with CMS data assets
• Experience integrating CRM, broker/FMO data, and BI platforms
• Strong communication skills
