The successful candidate will own the end-to-end incident lifecycle, drive root-cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to build automated preventions.
Requirements
- Experience in DataOps, DevOps, or data engineering roles with a minimum of 5 years
- Experience with AWS Glue, DMS, dbt, and Kafka monitoring
- Knowledge of data freshness SLAs, data quality frameworks, and platform health monitoring
- Knowledge of incident management tools and alerting systems
- Ability to identify ways to automate work and repetitive tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot and triage process
- Ability to manage multiple incidents and prioritize effectively
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and preventive action planning
- Ability to communicate and coordinate
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain operational discipline
