Role Overview
This position is located in Herndon, VA, and the qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT).
What You Will Do
Perform app development, prototyping, testing and demonstrating capabilities to users, build custom applications using declarative customization capabilities, and design and provide solution recommendations and roadmaps for service modernizations.

The qualified applicant will work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ of experience or Master’s Degree and 3 years’ of experience
- At least 3 years’ direct experience in Agile software development lifecycle
- At least 2 years of experience in development of enterprise-level Salesforce projects throughout implementation of lifecycles with demonstrable success
- Fluent in performing code merges of Salesforce git repositories, including conflict resolution
- Experienced in deploying repositories to sandboxes and test environments
- Experience in writing Visualforce, Apex classes/controllers, triggers, SOQL and SOSL
- Proficiency in related tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Salesforce Platform IDE, and integrations of third-party tools with Salesforce)
- Experience designing, building, and implementing custom applications using the declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce Platform
- Active Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim clearance acceptable
