The Texas Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Division is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to refine datasets, perform data analysis and research, and provide results in various formats. The analyst will work under general supervision to translate data into actionable insights using data visualization software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in data science, business analytics, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, or economics.
- Three years of work experience in data analysis, research, compilation, and/or report writing and design.
- Experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, Access, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and/or data analytics software or related.
