Head of Data and Business Intelligence – E-Commerce

Role Overview

The Head of Data and Business Intelligence will be responsible for building a modern data stack, including data warehouses, data pipelines, and BI solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of tracking, attribution, and data quality in the paid-social field, especially server-side tracking and conversion APIs.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will build data models, pipelines, and dashboards themselves and develop a high-performance data team. They will also be responsible for making complex data questions understandable and decision-relevant for founders, executives, and departments.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in data/BI roles in e-commerce or D2C
• Ideally where high advertising budgets were involved
• Proven experience in building and developing modern data stacks
• Deep understanding of tracking and attribution in the paid-social field
• Very good SQL knowledge and experience with common BI tools
• Python or comparable is an advantage
• Strong commercial understanding of revenue, CAC, inventory reach, forecasting, and the ability to translate data into concrete business decisions
