Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the division sales team to achieve sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction objectives. This position oversees sales operations, coaching, training, performance management, and execution of sales strategies across assigned communities.
What You Will Do
Direct the daily activities of Sales Representatives and other sales personnel to achieve established sales, revenue, traffic conversion, and closing objectives. Monitor community sales performance, market conditions, competitive activity, inventory levels, and sales trends to identify opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of residential homebuilding sales experience and 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a sales environment. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of residential homebuilding sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a sales environment
- Experience managing sales performance metrics, forecasting, and employee development
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between communities as needed
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
