Role Overview
The Financial Analyst – Technical Acct will perform analytical work and research for the Accounting Policy & Research group, which coordinates and manages complex financial accounting and analysis relating to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Regulatory Accounting Principles (RAP) issues.
What You Will Do
The role will involve researching and assisting with accounting guidance based on accounting authoritative literature and pronouncements, providing technical accounting and finance expertise on a wide range of accounting and business issues, and preparing and filing financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or business related field
- two years of experience in auditing, financial accounting and/or financial reporting
- CPA or two years of experience in public accounting
- Experience with SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products)
- Experience in financial reporting, public accounting and/or auditing
- Experience working with the Workiva SEC reporting platform (Wdesk)
- Experience working with Excel/Microsoft office
- Experience working with Copilot/other AI models
- Experience in the energy industry
