Senior Sales Engineer

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling assigned product lines to targeted customers in targeted market areas, achieving assigned sales goals, and managing customer relationships. The primary functions include providing accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation and technical support, communicating with customers, warehouse and plants to facilitate problem resolution, and collecting and analyzing market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three (3) years of electrical industry experience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Reside within 50 miles of Houston, TX
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of key customers within sales territories
  • Time management, presentation and planning skills
  • Command knowledge of Eaton electrical product and service capabilities
  • Skilled in Bidmanager and Vista
  • Demonstrated understanding of market trends, industry issues and knowledge of competitors
  • Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
