Role Overview
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing key accounts within the Northern Region, expanding markets, and presenting the capabilities and products of Econolite to key agency personnel. They will also assist with the formation of project teams, analyze requests for proposals (RFPs), and provide product management support for CV-specific products sold by Econolite.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will conduct regular in-person customer visits, identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and support ongoing projects. They will also utilize company CRM and territory management tools to document customer visits, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in engineering and/or account management, leveraging their experience to cultivate relationships within existing agencies and utilize their engineering background in selling to other engineers and technical departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering
- 5 years plus experience in Engineering/Account Management/Traffic Signal Support role
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred
- IMSA Level III is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
