Data Scientist

Role Overview

Elder Research seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist to join our team in Raleigh, NC or Washington DC. This role is hybrid, and candidates must be located in the Raleigh or Washington, DC market to support 1–2 days onsite per week. The Data Scientist will lead the full-lifecycle development and deployment of analytical solutions at Elder, leveraging advanced analytical methods to turn ambiguous business challenges into high-impact, production-ready models.

Responsibilities include leading Data Science Initiatives, Problem Solving and Consulting, Delivering Automation and Insights, Full-Lifecycle Ownership, and Collaborating and Communicating with internal teams and external client stakeholders.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, and proficiency in Python, including libraries for data analysis and modeling. They will also have strong SQL experience, hands-on experience with AWS services, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

Requirements
