Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading and driving certain aspects of the business development projects across gas and water desalination assets. This role involves developing new projects, managing partnerships, and overseeing the development process from initial prospection to final commitment.
What You Will Do
Identify, evaluate, develop, and execute new business development opportunities. Conduct assessment of a project, assess financial viability and risk creating factors, suggest viability of a project, coordinate and manage the entire risk analysis to help in decision making.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of working experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in business transactions and project development of energy and/or power projects. A university degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering is required.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years working experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in business transactions and project development of energy and/or power projects
- University degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering
- Experience with technical, financial, economic, and legal aspects of business transactions
- Knowledge of Project Financing
- Knowledge of energy policy and regulatory frameworks in the countries concerned
- Project management skills
- Contract negotiation skills
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
