Role Overview
We are looking for 2 profiles to collaborate on developing a transferable solution for automated detection and explanation of changes in inland waterway traffic flows. The task involves designing, building, testing, documenting, and delivering a proof of concept.
What You Will Do
Automatically detect and analyze changes, deviations, and trend breaks in traffic data. Investigate direct and indirect relationships between traffic data and internal or external explanatory variables. Report transparently on source, method, strength of relationships, uncertainty, limitations, and reproducibility.

You have extensive experience with data analysis and analyzing data streams. You have strong knowledge of time series analysis, trend detection, and change point detection. You are proficient in scripting languages like Python and/or R, and have in-depth knowledge of SQL, databases, and optimizing or tuning databases and queries.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with data analysis and analyzing data streams
- Strong knowledge of time series analysis, trend detection, and change point detection
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and/or R
- In-depth knowledge of SQL, databases, and optimizing or tuning databases and queries
- Experience with data modeling, preferably in a Databricks environment
- Knowledge of LLM and RAG
- Experience with Power BI for dashboards, data visualization, and data optimization
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts
- Ability to present findings in a structured and understandable way
