The Financial Analyst supports the Finance & Accounting team by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to help the organization make informed financial decisions. The role collaborates with departments across the organization to monitor financial performance, prepare departmental and program reports, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive financial analysis experience
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting
- Prior experience in nonprofit accounting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of and experience with D365, and Power BI
- Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide actionable insights
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to learn new technologies
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving, organizing, categorizing, and analyzing data
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
