Role Overview
This Director will lead Expeditors’ Central FP&A team with primary responsibility for the finance calendar, monthly forecast, annual operating plan, consolidated management reporting, and Board and earnings support.
What You Will Do
Lead Planning, Forecasting and Management Reporting, Develop Financial Models and Analysis, Establish FP&A Processes and Management Rhythms, Partner Across Finance and the Business, Serve as a Senior FP&A Leader, Coach and Develop the FP&A Team.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Ten or more years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in a mature FP&A organization within a large public company or similarly complex enterprise.
- A track record of creating or materially improving forecasting, planning, management reporting, earnings, or Board processes, with measurable results such as shorter cycle times or better decisions.
- Strong process orientation and the ability to build clear, practical, repeatable management rhythms.
- Strong intellectual curiosity about business operations, economic drivers, customers, markets, and competitive advantage.
- Ability to learn a complex business and translate operational performance into financial insight.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams, as well as significant financial processes and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, business drivers, and management reporting.
- Ability to build and review financial models for forecasts, scenarios, strategic initiatives, and business decisions.
- Ability to distill complex information into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, sound judgment, and a bias for action.
- Ability to influence decisions through facts, structured thinking, and trusted relationships.
- Ability to coach and develop finance professionals with varying levels of experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate effectively where processes, information, systems, or responsibilities are still evolving.
- Strong commitment to accuracy, transparency, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making.
