Data Engineer

Farfetch is a leading global marketplace for the luxury fashion industry, seeking a Data Engineer to implement methods to improve data reliability and quality, and provide an unrivaled customer experience and promote FARFETCH’s growth.

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines in a custom or commercial ETL tool
• Experience working in a Data Warehouse environment with varied forms of data infrastructure
• Expertise in creating and evolving dimensional data models & schema designs
• Basic experience and knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Expertise in SQL
• Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Python
• Experience working with a BI reporting tool (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Looker)
• Proficient applier of continuous delivery principles: version control, unit and automated tests
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
