Senior Data Modeler & Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Modeler/Data Analyst, you will work closely with business and technical teams to drive the creation of scalable and documented data design solutions. You will be responsible for understanding how business processes generate, consume and transform data across operational and analytical platforms.

What You Will Do

You will analyse source systems, data flows, integrations and business processes to develop conceptual, logical and physical data models that meet business needs and are capable of easily adapting to future business requirements.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience with data design, analysis and development
• Demonstrated experience in the following areas: Data API design and implementation, PL/SQL, data warehouses, data modeling and data profiling
• Experience analyzing operational systems, understanding data flows and data consumption patterns
• Demonstrable experience with SAP Power Designer or similar data modeling tool
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of the database development process including analysis, design, coding, testing, problem resolution and planning, and full competency in all relevant coding environments, languages, tools, and platforms
• Good interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical associates in the company
• Proven interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate optimally at all levels of management and peers.
• Experience working in cross-functional agile development teams.
• Understanding of Financial Services.
