Financial Planning & Analysis Director

Role Overview

Flagstone Foods is seeking a strategic Director of FP&A to join their team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate brings deep finance and operational expertise, a proven record of leading transformation, and genuine curiosity about AI and advanced analytics.

What You Will Do

The Director will lead monthly business results reporting, facilitate business performance review meetings, and develop business cases for capital investments and cost-savings initiatives.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and SKU and customer profitability analysis, with experience applying AI and machine learning to finance or operational problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or CMA designation, or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years of progressive finance experience in a similar role
• Experience in middle-market, private equity-backed manufacturing or industrial companies preferred
• Demonstrated experience applying AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics to finance or operational problems
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with BI and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) expected, and familiarity with SQL, Python, or AI-enabled finance platforms a plus
