Principal Infrastructure Automation & AI Ops Engineer

Role Overview

The Principal Infrastructure Automation & AI Ops Engineer will modernize enterprise infrastructure operations across endpoint, identity, Microsoft 365, network, cloud, and IT service management. This role will establish an automation-first, API-driven, AI-assisted operating model that replaces manual administration with policy-as-code, automated remediation, and intelligent operational workflows.

What You Will Do

The engineer will act as a technical authority and architecture leader, unifying various infrastructure and tools into a single automation and telemetry architecture. They will design and implement automated workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and define AI-driven remediation strategies.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have experience designing automation in large enterprise environments, with expertise in Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and PowerShell. They will also have experience with AI-assisted production automation, anomaly detection, and event correlation.

Requirements

• 10+ years in infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering
• Expert-level Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint management
• Strong hands-on Entra ID experience
• Advanced PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash
• Deep Microsoft 365 administration
• Experience with EDR platforms and vulnerability/patch management reporting
• Understanding of 802.1X, enterprise PKI/CA, and certificate deployment via MDM
