Director of Inside Sales Operations

We are partnering with a growth-focused organization seeking a Director of Inside Sales Operations to lead the daily execution, productivity, and effectiveness of their Inside Sales function. This role will own operational cadence, team performance, and process execution while partnering closely with leadership to drive scalable, predictable sales results. This is a highly visible, operationally focused leadership role ideal for a sales operations leader who thrives in a metrics-driven environment, enjoys developing people, and is passionate about building structure, accountability, and efficiency within an Inside Sales organization.

Essential Duties & Functions

  • Own day-to-day and week-to-week execution of Inside Sales operations, ensuring consistent performance across teams
  • Establish and enforce operating cadence, workflows, and execution standards
  • Monitor and analyze daily performance metrics and activity levels; provide regular reporting to leadership
  • Lead and mentor Inside Sales team members to meet or exceed established targets
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall sales effectiveness
  • Ensure the Inside Sales team is fully staffed to meet business demand; own recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ramping of new hires
  • Provide ongoing coaching, call monitoring, quality reviews, and performance calibration
  • Drive accountability to productivity benchmarks, quality standards, and defined sales processes
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
  • Evaluate systems, tools, and workflows to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Drive adoption and proper usage of sales systems and applications
  • Lead execution of Inside Sales initiatives, including rollout of new processes, tools, terms and conditions, and workflow changes
  • Ensure initiatives are properly trained, adopted, and measured for impact
  • Perform other duties as needed to support Inside Sales operations and overall business objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • Proven experience managing an Inside Sales team
  • Operational experience within a call center environment preferred
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and LEAN practices preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills
  • Highly organized with strong accountability and decision-making ability
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent, hire effectively, and foster a high-performing team culture
