FP&A Manager

Role Overview

Fortera is transforming the cement industry with next-generation cement technology. The FP&A Manager will help build the financial planning and reporting foundation for the company as it scales from a single plant to a portfolio of them.

What You Will Do

The FP&A Manager will own the annual operating budget process, build forecasts, and track actuals versus budget and forecast. They will also develop and maintain detailed capital project budgets, track committed costs, and prepare budget, forecast, and reporting packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related analytical role
• Experience owning a budgeting or forecasting process across multiple departments or stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling ability
• Strong analytical judgment
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Able to communicate and work closely with technical teams, including R&D and engineering

Benefits

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience of $140,000 – $175,000
