Role Overview
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the retention and growth of CalVEBA’s largest and/or most complex client accounts. This role leads proactive account planning, strengthens relationships across management and union leadership, and ensures complex client needs are addressed through coordinated internal resources and consultative service delivery.
What You Will Do
Provide day-to-day and strategic account management for assigned large, complex, or high-value accounts. Develop and execute proactive account plans that support retention, client satisfaction, renewal readiness, and long-term partnership goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of client coordination, account management, benefits, or related client service experience
- High school diploma and at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Active license required, as applicable to role requirements
- Ability to manage complex client relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
