Salesforce Developer (Cloud Developer)

Role Overview

GDIT is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and deploy solutions within the Salesforce platform to support business workflows for Medicaid Integrity Institute (MII) Event Coordinators and Expense Specialists.

What You Will Do

Design and implement a tailored Salesforce workspace to support event management workflows, expense submission, tracking, approvals, and reporting functions. Gather and refine requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom application development
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (such as Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DX)
• Experience designing user-centric solutions to support business processes and workflow optimization
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle, version control, and deployment strategies
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API integrations
• Knowledge of data modeling, data migration, and data quality best practices within Salesforce
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders
