Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Information Architect, Global Web
Location: Remote, US
Summary:
The Sr. Information Architect, Global Web will manage information architecture and experience architecture for the Genesys.com website. Our ideal candidate has deep experience creating customer-centric enterprise websites — transforming buyer journeys to generate more traffic, conversion, and engagement. With a background in qualitative and quantitative research and web content design strategy, they excel at translating business goals and customer insights into breakthrough digital experiences. Working with stakeholder and content creators across the company, they’ll drive strategies to personalize top pages and offers delivering the right content to the right persona at the right time. Through continuous research and testing, they will evolve our ecosystem of web templates, navigation, and digital journeys to deliver more performance and a better customer experience. This role focuses on the intersection of web content design, strategy, research, systems and not web copywriting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IA and content design strategy for top website templates and pages
- Manage web information architecture and sitemap in partnership with SEO
- Craft guidelines for components and patterns in design system
- Drive proactive content design and IA recommendations into web roadmap
- Align navigation and site structure to GTM launches and updates
- Optimize content experiences across campaigns and DG to maximize conversion
- Analyze web data to identify and optimize hero buying journey performance
- Provide web IA and content design strategy in response to stakeholder requests
- Optimize web copy and CTAs for conversion and engagement
- Create and manage web content plans, maps, playbooks and standards
- Conduct web content design and IA audits, research and analysis
- Collaborate with web writers and stakeholders as they adapt messaging to website
- Gather requirements and align stakeholders to web content goals
- Partner with SEO to optimize site architecture for organic traffic
- Scale web content personalization across personas and journeys
- Conduct content focused user research and A/B tests
- Manage asset taxonomies and onsite search
- Provide continuous web insights and data to content and copywriting teams
- Lead workshops and share insights for web IA and content design
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant professional experience Portfolio or work samples showcasing relevant IA, content design, research and other strategic artifacts that helped drive successful outcomes
- Experienced in best-practices for UX writing human-centered web design
- Experience leading content design for modern SaaS or technology websites
- Experience optimizing website architecture for search engine optimization
- Experience driving insights from analytics, experimentation, and user research tools
- Experience with content design and UI-focused A/B testing and research studies
- Experience working in enterprise web content management systems and platforms
- Experience in crafting ADA-compliant websites and inclusive content designs
- Excited about strategic web content role requiring almost no web copywriting
- Systems builder with strong program, project, and product management skills
- Cross-functional and collaborative growth mindset

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$90,600.00 – $177,800.00
