Role Overview

GFL is seeking a detail-oriented Business Financial Analyst to support financial planning and performance analysis in mid and Northern Michigan service areas. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting, budgeting, and collaborating with departments to identify cost savings and revenue opportunities.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include financial analysis and forecasting, cost and revenue analysis, market and industry research, modeling and data analysis, process improvement, compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operational processes, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google suite. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field is required, and experience is preferred.
